How it works

1. Activate a mana-producing permanent by tapping it, adding at least 1.
2. Activate Shorikai by paying 1 and tapping it, causing you to draw four cards, discard a card and create a 1/1 Pilot creature token.
3. Activate Mind over Matter twice by discarding two cards, untapping Shorikai and the mana-producing permanent.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Shorikai, Genesis Engine into an absolute draw engine by leveraging Mind Over Matter to continuously untap both Shorikai and your mana source. While Shorikai's activation normally draws two cards, the presence of Thought Reflection doubles that draw into four cards per cycle, effortlessly supplying the discards required to fuel Mind Over Matter's untap ability. Through this recursive exchange of discarded cards and tapped permanents, you generate an endless cascade of draws, mana, and Pilot tokens.
