How it works
- Activate Shorikai by paying 1 and tapping it, causing you to draw two cards, discard a card and create a 1/1 Pilot creature token.
- Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Pilot, adding 1.
- Activate Mind over Matter by discarding a card, untapping Shorikai.
- Repeat.
This looping engine turns Shorikai, Genesis Engine into a self-sustaining card-drawing powerhouse by leveraging the discard outlet built directly into Mind Over Matter. Whenever you tap Shorikai to draw cards and create a Pilot token, you can immediately sacrifice that token to Phyrexian Altar for mana, while simultaneously using Mind Over Matter's discard cost to untap Shorikai so the process can begin anew. Because you're constantly churning through your library and discarding cards to fuel the combo, you generate infinite draw and looting effects alongside a near-infinite stream of creature deaths and sacrifices.
