How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Karmic Guide.
2. When Karmic Guide dies, South Wind Avatar triggers, causing you to gain 1 life and target opponent to lose 1 life.
3. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
4. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Junji.
5. When Junji dies, it and South Wind Avatar trigger.
6. Resolve the South Wind Avatar trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and target opponent to lose 1 life.
7. Resolve the Junji trigger, returning Karmic Guide from your graveyard to the battlefield and causing you to lose 2 life.
8. When Karmic Guide enters, it triggers, returning Junji from your graveyard to the battlefield.
9. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
10. Repeat.
