How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Karmic Guide.
2. When Karmic Guide dies, Cauldron of Essence triggers, causing you to gain 1 life and each opponent to lose 1 life.
3. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
4. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Junji.
5. When Junji dies, it and Cauldron of Essence trigger.
6. Resolve the Cauldron of Essence trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and each opponent to lose 1 life.
7. Resolve the Junji trigger, returning Karmic Guide from your graveyard to the battlefield and causing you to lose 2 life.
8. When Karmic Guide enters, it triggers, returning Junji from your graveyard to the battlefield.
9. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
10. Repeat.
