How it works

1. Activate Mimeoplasm by paying 2, causing it to become a copy of Topiary Lecturer.
2. Activate Mimeoplasm by tapping it, adding at least seven .
3. Activate Mimeoplasm by paying 2, causing it to become a copy of Gilder Bairn.
4. Activate Mimeoplasm using Gilder Bairn's ability by paying 2G/U and untapping it.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Mimeoplasm, Revered One into a versatile shape-shifter that repeatedly rewrites its own identity. By using its activation to copy Topiary Lecturer, Mimeoplasm can tap to generate a massive surplus of green mana thanks to its huge pile of +1/+1 counters. It then shifts into a copy of Gilder Bairn, allowing you to use that generated mana to untap and double every counter on the creature. Since Mimeoplasm retains its counters and its copying ability through these transformations, this growth becomes exponential—feeding larger mana taps and even triggering Topiary Lecturer's increment ability if it ever shifts back.
