How it works
Activate Overgrown Estate by sacrificing any land, causing you to gain 3 life.
Repeat step 1 until you have at least six land cards in your graveyard, with one of those cards being a Swamp.
Activate Aftermath Analyst by paying 3 and sacrificing it, returning all land cards from your graveyard to the battlefield untapped due to The Wandering Minstrel.
Activate any number of lands by tapping them, adding at least 3.
Activate Strands of Night by paying and 2 life and sacrificing a Swamp, returning Aftermath Analyst from your graveyard to the battlefield.
When Aftermath Analyst enters, it triggers, causing you to mill three cards.
Repeat.
This intricate loop lets you recycle your entire land base to generate staggering amounts of value, fueled by Overgrown Estate turning your lands into lifegain while filling your graveyard. Once your subterranean reserves are sufficiently stocked, Aftermath Analyst sacrifices itself to pull every single land back into play at once. The Wandering Minstrel is the linchpin here, ensuring that your returning lands enter untapped so they can immediately tap for the mana you need. With those resources flowing, Strands of Night uses a sacrificed Swamp and a bit of life to drag Aftermath Analyst right back from the grave, ready to mill you further and repeat the cycle indefinitely.
