How it works
Activate Atog by sacrificing Tom, Bert, and William.
When Tom, Bert, and William die, they trigger, returning them from your graveyard to the battlefield as a noncreature artifact.
Because Tom, Bert, and William enter as a noncreature artifact, March of the Machines will then cause Tom, Bert, and William to be a 5/5 artifact creature.
Resolve the Atog ability.
Repeat.
This loop uses March of the Machines as a continuous engine, turning Tom, Bert, and William into an artifact creature with a mana value of 5 simply by existing on the battlefield as a noncreature artifact. Because of this typing, when you feed them to Atog's sacrifice ability to pump its power, Tom, Bert, and William's own death trigger catches them going to the graveyard and immediately returns them to the battlefield. They slip right back into play as an artifact, instantly get reanimated as a creature by March of the Machines, and stand ready to be fed to Atog all over again.
