How it works

1. Activate Myr Scrapling by sacrificing it.
2. When Myr Scrapling dies, Mortuary and Overgrowth Elemental trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Myr Scrapling from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Overgrowth Elemental trigger, causing you to gain 1 life
5. Resolve the Myr Scrapling ability.
6. Cast Myr Scrapling from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop uses Mortuary to instantly recycle Myr Scrapling back to the top of your library every time it meets its end. Meanwhile, Overgrowth Elemental provides a steady stream of life gain and +1/+1 counters as it watches the Scrapling repeatedly perish and return. This entire cycle is fueled by Gwenom, Remorseless, whose attack trigger lets you cast the Scrapling right off the top of your library by paying life instead of mana, turning your own life total into an endless engine for infinite sacrifices, triggers, and counters.
