How it works

  1. Activate Gwenna by tapping it, adding G manaG mana that can only be spent to cast creature spells or to activate abilities of creatures.
  2. Cast Ghalta by paying G manaG mana.
  3. Brinelin and Gwenna trigger.
  4. Resolve the Brinelin trigger, returning Primeval Protector from the battlefield to your hand.
  5. Resolve the Gwenna trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and untapping it.
  6. Activate Gwenna by tapping it, adding G manaG mana that can only be spent to cast creature spells or to activate abilities of creatures.
  7. Cast Primeval Protector by paying at most 1G mana.
  8. Brinelin and Gwenna trigger.
  9. Resolve the Brinelin trigger, returning Ghalta from the battlefield to your hand.
  10. Resolve the Gwenna trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and untapping it.
  11. When Primeval Protector enters, it triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on each other creature you control.
  12. Repeat.
