How it works

1. Activate Sparring Mummy by tapping it, creating a token copy of itself with haste.
2. When the token Sparring Mummy enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping the nontoken Sparring Mummy.
3. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns a simple combat trick into an unstoppable army by pairing Sparring Mummy with Splinter Twin. Once you enchant the Mummy, tapping it to create a token copy triggers the Mummy's entering-the-battlefield ability to untap the original, leaving the nontoken Sparring Mummy fresh and ready to be tapped for yet another copy. Because the freshly spawned tokens retain haste from the enchantment, this recursive cycle instantly floods the board with infinite hasty attackers and boundless entry triggers to overwhelm your opponents in a single turn.
