How it works

1. Give Pestilence Demon lifelink by any method.
2. Activate Pestilence Demon by paying 2 life, dealing 1 damage to each creature and each player and causing you to gain life equal to the amount of damage dealt this way.
3. Archangel of Thune triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This brilliant life-cycling loop turns Pestilence Demon into a self-sustaining engine of destruction by relying on Archangel of Thune to constantly replenish your health. Once the Demon gains lifelink, its activated ability deals damage to everything—including your opponents and your own board—which immediately triggers the Archangel to pump every creature you control with +1/+1 counters to keep them alive through the carnage. Meanwhile, K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth makes the whole scheme dramatically easier to fuel by letting you pay life instead of black mana, creating an unstoppable feedback loop of damage, healing, and growth.
