How it works
- Activate Pestilence Demon by paying , dealing 1 damage to each creature and each player.
- Sonic triggers for each creature you control with haste or flash that is dealt damage, creating that many untapped Treasure tokens due to Archelos.

Pestilence Demon provides the ignition for this destructive loop, using its black mana activation to ping every creature and player for 1 damage. That damage triggers Sonic the Hedgehog's second ability for each of your creatures with haste or flash, showering you in Treasure tokens. While Sonic the Hedgehog's haste natively qualifies it for this trigger, Archelos, Lagoon Mystic shapes the board state so that those Treasures enter the battlefield untapped, allowing you to instantly sacrifice them to feed Pestilence Demon's activation cost and keep the engine roaring infinitely.
