How it works

1. Activate Pestilence Demon by paying , dealing 1 damage to each creature and each player.
2. Sonic triggers for each creature you control with haste or flash that is dealt damage, creating that many tapped Treasure tokens.
3. When the Treasure(s) enter, Amulet of Vigor triggers that many times, untapping the Treasure(s).
4. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
5. Repeat.

This loop turns Pestilence Demon into a self-sustaining engine by utilizing Sonic the Hedgehog's triggered ability to generate a Treasure token every time your haste- or flash-granting creatures take damage. Because those Treasures enter the battlefield tapped, Amulet of Vigor steps in to instantly untap them, allowing you to sacrifice the newly untaped Treasure for the black mana needed to activate the Demon once more. With Sonic the Hedgehog: Haste providing the crucial keyword that qualifies your board for Sonic's damage triggers, the entire loop feeds itself to deal lethal damage to your opponents while generating an endless supply of mana and artifact triggers.
