How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Specimen Collector, adding CC.
2. When Specimen Collector dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay 4 to return Specimen Collector from your graveyard to the battlefield and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
3. When Specimen Collector enters, it triggers, creating two creature tokens.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a creature token, adding CC.
5. Repeat.

This looping engine is fueled by Ashnod's Altar, which happily converts your creatures into the colorless mana needed to keep the cycle spinning. When Specimen Collector hits the battlefield, its entry trigger floods your board with token fodder, and its subsequent death triggers can even leverage that token generation before Nim Deathmantle steps in. By feeding Specimen Collector and its spawned tokens into Ashnod's Altar, you generate more than enough mana to pay Nim Deathmantle's resurrection fee whenever Specimen Collector goes to the graveyard, instantly bringing it back equipped and ready to repeat the process indefinitely.
