How it works

1. Cast any instant or sorcery spell from your hand by paying its mana cost, targeting Specimen Collector.
2. Orvar's first ability triggers, creating a token copy of Specimen Collector.
3. The Specimen Collector token enters the battlefield, creating a 1/1 Squirrel and a 0/3 Crab creature token.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the nontoken Specimen Collector, adding CC.
5. The nontoken Specimen Collector dies, creating a token copy of the Specimen Collector copy.
6. Repeat from step 3, sacrificing one of the two Specimen Collector copies instead.
