How it works

1. Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top from the battlefield onto the top of your library.
2. Cast Sensei's Divining Top from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
3. When Sensei's Divining Top enters the battlefield, Leonin Elder triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the self-replacing nature of Sensei's Divining Top into a self-sustaining engine by tapping it to draw a card and place itself on top of your library. From there, Gwenom, Remorseless lets you bypass traditional mana costs entirely, allowing you to recast the Top for a payment of 1 life instead of its usual generic mana. Meanwhile, Leonin Elder quietly cushions the life loss by triggering on every single artifact entry, neutralizing the cost and letting you filter through your entire deck while building an arbitrarily large storm count.
