How it works

1. Activate Thranduil using Greenhilt Trainee's ability by tapping it, giving Thranduil +4/+4 until end of turn.
2. Activate Thranduil using Devoted Druid's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping it.
3. Repeat.

This clever engine leverages Thranduil, the Elvenking as a living conduit, inheriting the activated abilities of every Elf sitting in your graveyard. By utilizing Greenhilt Trainee in the graveyard, Thranduil gains the ability to pump up creatures, but more importantly, he can also absorb Devoted Druid's second ability to untap himself at the cost of a -1/-1 counter. This creates a self-sustaining loop where Thranduil endlessly taps to boost power and untaps himself by growing his own -1/-1 counter tally, effortlessly churning out infinite green mana and infinitely large creatures.
