How it works

1. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Michelangelo.
2. When Michelangelo dies, it and Deathrender trigger.
3. Resolve the Michelangelo trigger, returning it from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Resolve the Deathrender trigger, putting Michelangelo from your hand onto the battlefield and attaching Deathrender to it.
5. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop lets you sacrifice Michelangelo, On the Scene to Phantom Train, triggering its activation cost while sending Michelangelo to the graveyard. Because Deathrender is equipped to him, his death triggers the Equipment's ability to cheat a creature from your hand into play, right alongside Michelangelo's own recursive trigger that safely returns him back to your hand. You then use Deathrender to drop Michelangelo right back onto the battlefield equipped with the artifact, ready to be fed to Phantom Train all over again for an endless chain of sacrifices and triggers.
