How it works

1. Cast Whitemane Lion by paying 1.
2. Oltec Matterweaver triggers, creating two token copies of any Treasure or Gold token you control.
3. When Whitemane Lion enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning itself from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Activate two Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, or two Golds by sacrificing them, adding 1.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop relies on the constant recycling of Whitemane Lion, which automatically bounces itself back to your hand the moment it touches the battlefield so you can recast it endlessly. As you cast the Lion over and over, Oltec Matterweaver springs into action to exploit those creature spells, letting you duplicate your existing artifact tokens instead of just making Gnomes. The engine is supercharged by Doubling Season, which magnifies every single token creation event so that Oltec Matterweaver's triggered ability yields twice the intended bounty, easily fueling the mana needed to keep casting the Lion.
