How it works

1. Activate Myr Scrapling by sacrificing it.
2. When Myr Scrapling dies, Mortuary and Venerated Stormsinger trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Myr Scrapling from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Venerated Stormsinger trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and each opponent to lose 1 life.
5. Resolve the Myr Scrapling ability.
6. Cast Myr Scrapling from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
7. Repeat.

This cunning loop relies on Mortuary to intercept your creatures as they hit the graveyard, cycling them straight back to the top of your library. From there, Gwenom, Remorseless lets you peer past the veil and cast those recycled threats directly from the library by trading your own life instead of traditional mana. Meanwhile, Myr Scrapling acts as the ultimate expendable fuel, sacrificing itself to pump your creatures while effortlessly re-entering the fray. Every iteration of this gruesome cycle is amplified by Venerated Stormsinger, draining your opponents' life totals and padding your own to easily sustain Gwenom's life-payment costs.
