How it works

1. Activate Myr Scrapling by sacrificing it.
2. When Myr Scrapling dies, Mortuary and Susurian Voidborn trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Myr Scrapling from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Susurian Voidborn trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and target opponent to lose 1 life.
5. Resolve the Myr Scrapling ability.
6. Cast Myr Scrapling from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
7. Repeat.

This loop creates a self-sustaining engine of life drain and counter placement by constantly recycling your artifacts through the graveyard. When you sacrifice Myr Scrapling, Mortuary ensures it immediately returns to the top of your library rather than lingering in the graveyard. Thanks to Gwenom, Remorseless, you can bypass normal casting restrictions to play cards directly from the top of your library, paying life instead of mana to recast the creature. Meanwhile, Susurian Voidborn turns every single iteration of this recycling loop into a direct life swing, draining your opponent while keeping your life total healthy enough to fuel Gwenom's alternative casting cost.
