How it works

1. Activate Scorched Ruins by tapping it, adding CCCC
2. Activate Candelabra of Tawnos by paying 2 and tapping it, untapping Scorched Ruins and Candelabra of Tawnos as it is a land due to Toph.
3. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the massive mana production of Scorched Ruins into an engine by leveraging Toph, the First Metalbender, whose static ability gracefully reclassifies all your nontoken artifacts into lands. Because Candelabra of Tawnos is now treated as a land alongside your other artifacts, it becomes a valid target for its own activation once you pay into its {X} cost. By tapping Scorched Ruins for four colorless mana and feeding two of that mana back into Candelabra of Tawnos to untap both pieces, you easily generate infinite colorless mana and infinite untaps.
