How it works

  1. Cast Last Chance by paying R manaR mana.
  2. Exalted Flamer of Tzeentch's second ability triggers, dealing 1 damage to each opponent.
  3. Resolve Last Chance, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
  4. Move to your extra turn.
  5. At the beginning of your upkeep, Exalted Flamer of Tzeentch's first ability triggers, returning Last Chance from your graveyard to your hand.
  6. Repeat steps 1-3 one additional time.
  7. At the beginning of your end step, Last Chance triggers.
  8. Holding priority, activate Sundial of the Infinite by paying 1 and tapping it, ending the turn and exiling the Last Chance trigger from the stack.
  9. Repeat from step 4.

This clever loop twists time to your will by combining Last Chance's extra turn with a way to bypass its deadly delayed trigger. When you cast Last Chance, Exalted Flamer of Tzeentch not only peppers your opponents with damage through its Fire of Tzeentch ability, but its Sorcerous Inspiration upkeep trigger also reliably plucks Last Chance right back out of your graveyard to hand. The true genius of the concoction, however, lies in Sundial of the Infinite: by holding priority and activating its ability during your end step, you cleanly exile the delayed "you lose the game" trigger left behind by Last Chance, allowing you to cycle endlessly into infinite turns and total victory.
