How it works

1. Deal combat damage to an opponent using a Rogue.
2. Cast Notorious Throng for its prowl cost by paying 5, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
3. Move to your next turn.
4. Cast Chthonian Nightmare by paying 1.
5. When Chthonian Nightmare enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to get EEE.
6. Activate Chthonian Nightmare by paying EEEE, sacrificing a creature with mana value 2 or less, and returning Chthonian Nightmare from the battlefield to your hand, returning Timeless Witness from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. When Timeless Witness enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Notorious Throng from your graveyard to your hand.
8. Cast Chthonian Nightmare by paying 1.
9. When Chthonian Nightmare enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to get EEE.
10. Activate Chthonian Nightmare by paying at most EE, sacrificing Timeless Witness, and returning Chthonian Nightmare from the battlefield to your hand, returning a creature with mana value 2 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield.
11. Repeat.

By leveraging the extra turn granted by casting Notorious Throng for its prowl cost, this engine sets up a seamless recycling loop powered by Chthonian Nightmare. When Chthonian Nightmare enters the battlefield, it provides the energy needed to activate its own ability, allowing you to sacrifice creatures and return Timeless Witness from your graveyard to the battlefield. Timeless Witness then triggers upon entry to pull Notorious Throng right back to your hand, fueling your infinite turns while Chthonian Nightmare bounces safely back to hand to repeat the process all over again.
