How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a creature, adding CC.
2. When the creature dies, Cruel Celebrant triggers, causing you to gain 1 life and each opponent to lose 1 life.
3. Lisette triggers, causing you to pay 1 to put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.
4. Animation Module triggers for each counter placed this way.
5. Resolve the first trigger, choosing to pay 1 to create a 1/1 Servo artifact creature token.
6. Resolve all other triggers, choosing not to pay.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop uses Ashnod's Altar as the engine to churn out colorless mana by feeding it your creatures, while Cruel Celebrant ensures every sacrifice drains your opponents and gains you life. That influx of life is where Valentin, Dean of the Vein // Lisette, Dean of the Root steps in on its Lisette face, letting you invest a single mana to spread +1/+1 counters across your board. Those incoming counters immediately trip Animation Module's trigger, giving you the chance to pay one more mana and spawn a fresh Servo artifact creature token to replace the one you sacrificed.
