How it works

1. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Metamorphosis Fanatic.
2. When Metamorphosis Fanatic dies, Cruel Celebrant triggers, causing you to gain 1 life and each opponent to lose 1 life.
3. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Junji.
4. When Junji dies, it and Cruel Celebrant trigger.
5. Resolve the Cruel Celebrant trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and each opponent to lose 1 life.
6. Resolve the Junji trigger, returning Metamorphosis Fanatic from your graveyard to the battlefield and causing you to lose 2 life.
7. When Metamorphosis Fanatic enters, it triggers, returning Junji from your graveyard to the battlefield.
8. Repeat.

This clever loop revolves around an infinite recursion of death and resurrection, fueled by Thermopod to keep the mana flowing. Every time you cycle Junji, the Midnight Sky and Metamorphosis Fanatic between the battlefield and the graveyard, Cruel Celebrant silently drains your opponents dry off every single sacrifice and entry.
