How it works

1. Cause Heronblade Elite to become an artifact using Liquimetal Torque.
2. Activate Heronblade Elite by tapping it, adding at least 3.
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Heronblade Elite.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms Heronblade Elite into an artifact creature with the help of Liquimetal Torque, making it a legal target for Voltaic Construct's untap ability. Once converted, Heronblade Elite can tap for a massive wave of mana—provided its power is at least 3—which then pays entirely for Voltaic Construct's untap cost with mana to spare. By continually untapping the newly-minted artifact creature, you can repeat this cycle endlessly to generate infinite colored mana.
