How it works

1. Activate Liquimetal Torque's second ability by tapping it, causing Nissa to become an artifact until end of turn.
2. Activate Vorel of the Hull Clade by paying and tapping it, doubling the number of counters on Nissa.
3. Activate Nissa by removing twelve loyalty counters from it, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
4. Repeat each turn.

This fascinating chain turns Vorel of the Hull Clade into a ferocious engine for infinite turns by taking advantage of Liquimetal Torque's ability to turn Nissa, Ascended Animist into an artifact, making her a valid target for Vorel's counter-doubling effect. While Ichormoon Gauntlet isn't tapped during the active sequence, its passive ability is the true catalyst here: it grants Nissa the devastating [-12] ultimate ability to take an extra turn, which Vorel's doubling allows you to reload effortlessly cycle after cycle.
