How it works

1. Cause Vhal to become an artifact using Liquimetal Torque.
2. Activate Vhal by tapping it, adding at least CCC.
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Vhal.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms Vhal, Candlekeep Researcher into an artifact creature via Liquimetal Torque, unlocking her true potential by allowing her to be targeted by Voltaic Construct. Once Vhal is turned into an artifact, tapping her for mana yields enough colorless energy to easily fund the Construct's untap ability, leaving you with surplus mana each cycle. Because Voltaic Construct untaps any artifact creature, it effortlessly refreshes Vhal to repeat the process indefinitely, generating infinite colorless mana and infinite untaps.
