How it works

1. Cause Bighorner Rancher to become an artifact using Liquimetal Torque.
2. Activate Bighorner Rancher by tapping it, adding at least 3.
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Bighorner Rancher.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms a humble beast into a self-sustaining mana engine. Liquimetal Torque works behind the scenes to turn Bighorner Rancher into an artifact, allowing it to be targeted by Voltaic Construct's untap ability. Once converted, tapping Bighorner Rancher to its own mana ability generates enough green mana—at least three power's worth—to comfortably pay for Voltaic Construct's activation cost with mana left over, creating an infinite loop of green mana and untaps.
