How it works

1. Cause Arbor Adherent to become an artifact using Liquimetal Torque.
2. Activate Arbor Adherent by tapping it, adding at least 3.
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Arbor Adherent.
4. Repeat from step 2.

By weaving together Liquimetal Torque's ability to turn nonland permanents into artifacts, Arbor Adherent can be transformed into an artifact creature so it can be targeted by Voltaic Construct. Once Arbor Adherent is producing enough mana from its tap ability to cover the activation cost of Voltaic Construct, you can endlessly untap it to generate an infinite loop of colored mana.
