How it works

1. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Shambling Ghast.
2. When Shambling Ghast dies, it, Pitiless Plunderer and Rakdos trigger.
3. Resolve the Shambling Ghast and Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating two Treasure tokens.
4. Activate the Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 1.
5. Holding priority, activate Haunted Crossroads by paying , putting Shambling Ghast from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
6. Resolve the Rakdos trigger, exiling Shambling Ghast from the top of your library with the ability to cast it until your next turn.
7. Resolve the Phantom Train ability
8. Cast Shambling Ghast from exile by paying 1.
9. Repeat.

This looping sacrifice engine kicks off by feeding Shambling Ghast to Phantom Train, transforming the Vehicle into a creature while growing it with a +1/+1 counter. As Shambling Ghast hits the graveyard, Pitiless Plunderer generates a Treasure token alongside Rakdos, the Muscle's exile trigger, while the Ghast's own death trigger adds a second Treasure to your pool. Those two Treasures fund the black mana needed to activate Haunted Crossroads, placing the Shambling Ghast right back on top of your library so Rakdos, the Muscle can exile it and let you recast it for the mana generated by the loop.
