How it works

1. During your upkeep, activate Nim Devourer by paying , returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield, and then sacrificing it.
2. When Nim Devourer dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating two Treasure tokens.
3. Activate the Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding .
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on the constant recycling of Nim Devourer directly from your graveyard during your upkeep by paying its black mana activation cost. Each time it enters and is immediately sacrificed, Pitiless Plunderer springs into action by triggering upon that death to generate Treasure tokens. The engine is supercharged by Exalted Sunborn's replacement effect, which doubles the token creation to yield twice as many Treasures as normal. Sacrificing those extra Treasures provides all the mana needed to keep repeating the cycle indefinitely, fueling an endless stream of death and sacrifice triggers.
