How it works

1. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Cavalier of Night, adding .
2. When Cavalier of Night dies, it triggers, returning Activated Sleeper from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Cavalier of Night.
3. When Activated Sleeper enters the battlefield, its first triggered ability from Cavalier of Night triggers; choose not to sacrifice a creature.
4. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Activated Sleeper, adding .
5. When Activated Sleeper dies, its last ability from Cavalier of Night triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Cavalier of Night.
6. When Activated Sleeper enters the battlefield, it triggers; choose not to sacrifice a creature.
7. Repeat from step 5.

This clever loop turns the graveyard into a revolving door of carnage by leveraging Thermopod's sacrifice outlet to turn creatures into red mana while setting up continuous recursion. Cavalier of Night acts as the initial catalyst, sacrificing itself to Thermopod and using its dying trigger to pull Activated Sleeper from the graveyard. Because Activated Sleeper enters as a fresh copy of Cavalier of Night thanks to its unique flash-and-copy ability, it seamlessly inherits the exact same death trigger to resurrect itself the moment Thermopod sacrifices it again.
