How it works

1. Cast Appa by paying
2. When Appa enters, its first ability triggers, exiling Felidar Guardian with the ability to cast it later from exile.
3. Cast Felidar Guardian from exile by paying 0.
4. Appa's second ability triggers, creating a 1/1 Ally creature token
5. When Felidar Guardian enters, it triggers, blinking Appa.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This elegant loop relies on Appa, Steadfast Guardian to repeatedly exile Felidar Guardian, which is made entirely free to cast from exile thanks to the cost-reducing passive abilities of Nylea, Keen-Eyed and The Immortal Sun. Every time Felidar Guardian returns to the battlefield from exile, its entry trigger blinks Appa, Steadfast Guardian right back into play to restart the cycle. As this engine churns, Appa, Steadfast Guardian's second ability continuously triggers to reward you with an endless army of 1/1 Ally creature tokens and an arbitrarily high storm count.
