How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Devourer by exiling a card.
2. Repeat step 1 until you've exiled your library.
3. Cast Beacon of Immortality by paying 5, doubling your life total and shuffling it into your library.
4. Cast Beacon of Immortality from the top of your library by paying 6 life, doubling your life total and shuffling it into your library.
5. Repeat step 4.

This clever engine turns Gwenom, Remorseless into a deadly life-doubling conduit by letting you play cards directly from the top of your library while bypassing normal mana costs with life payments. To fuel this, you turn to Phyrexian Devourer, whose continuous ability to exile cards for +1/+1 counters acts as a self-contained graveyard filler that completely empties your library without triggering its own self-sacrifice clause so long as you pace the activations. Once your library is empty except for a lone Beacon of Immortality, Gwenom lets you cast it repeatedly for a mere 6 life instead of {5}{W}. Because Beacon of Immortality doubles your life total and then shuffles itself back into your library, every iteration leaves you with exponentially more life than the last, easily offsetting the life paid to Gwenom while generating infinite life and storm count.
