How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Devourer by exiling the top card of your library, putting a number of +1/+1 counters on it equal to the exiled card's mana value.
2. Casey's second ability triggers, and Phyrexian Devourer triggers if it's power is 7 or greater.
3. Resolve the Casey trigger, dealing damage to an opponent.
4. Holding priority, repeat from step 1 until your library.
5. Resolve all Phyrexian Devourer triggers, sacrificing it.

This explosive synergy turns Phyrexian Devourer's self-destructive hunger into a lethal weapon by feeding it mana values straight from your library. As you repeatedly activate its ability to stack up +1/+1 counters, Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute watches eagerly and translates every single counter placed onto a creature into direct damage targeting your opponent. Because Casey's triggered ability rewards the mere placement of those counters, you can rapidly churn through your library and deal near-infinite damage to clear the game before Phyrexian Devourer's own safety trigger finally forces you to sacrifice it.
