How it works

1. Cast Shrieking Drake by paying .
2. Shrieking Drake's cascade ability from Abaddon the Despoiler triggers, causing you to cast Lotus Bloom from your library since it is the only valid card to cast.
3. Shrieking Drake enters the battlefield, triggering itself, returning itself to your hand.
4. Activate Lotus Bloom by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
5. Activate Soldevi Digger by paying 2, putting Lotus Bloom from your graveyard on the bottom of your library.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Abaddon the Despoiler to turn Shrieking Drake into a cascade engine, as long as your opponents have lost enough life to set *X* to zero so that Lotus Bloom becomes the only valid spell to hit. By casting the Drake for a single blue mana, its entry triggers its own drawback to bounce itself back to your hand while simultaneously triggering cascade to drop Lotus Bloom directly onto the battlefield for free. You then sacrifice that Lotus Bloom for three mana—more than enough to pay the universal costs of the loop—and use Soldevi Digger to recycle the artifact from your graveyard back to the bottom of your library just in time to cascade into it again.
