How it works

1. Cast Tatterkite from your graveyard by paying 0 due to Temur Battlecrier. It won't enter with a finality counter on it due to its static ability.
2. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Tatterkite.
3. Repeat.

This brilliant recursive loop hinges on Leonardo, Sewer Samurai, which unlocks your graveyard to continuously cast creature spells possessing power or toughness 1 or less. While Leonardo would normally saddle these recurred threats with a finality counter, Tatterkite completely bypasses this restriction thanks to its own static ability preventing counters from being placed on it. Meanwhile, Temur Battlecrier provides the cost reduction necessary to cast Tatterkite for free, allowing you to feed it endlessly into Altar of Dementia to grind through your library and mill out opponents with an infinite storm count.
