How it works
Activate Ravenous Intruder by sacrificing Tatterkite
When Tatterkite dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to its static effect.
Resolve the Ravenous Intruder ability.
Repeat.
This clever engine relies on Isilu, Carrier of Twilight—the backside of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn—to grant your other nontoken creatures persist, turning every death into a recycling loop. Because Tatterkite possesses a static ability preventing counters from being placed on it, it completely bypasses the drawback of persist, returning to the battlefield fresh every single time it hits the graveyard. Ravenous Intruder provides the necessary outlet by happily sacrificing Tatterkite over and over again, converting those repeated trips to the graveyard into an infinitely large creature while generating an endless stream of artifact sacrifice, entry, and death triggers.
