How it works

  1. Activate Gwenna by tapping it, adding G manaG mana that can only be spent to cast creature spells or to activate abilities of creatures.
  2. Cast Earthquake Dragon by paying at most 1G mana.
  3. Brinelin and Gwenna trigger.
  4. Resolve the Brinelin trigger, returning Sailors' Bane from the battlefield to your hand.
  5. Resolve the Gwenna trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and untapping it.
  6. Activate Gwenna by tapping it, adding U manaU mana that can only be spent to cast creature spells or to activate abilities of creatures.
  7. Cast Sailors' Bane by paying U manaU mana.
  8. Brinelin and Gwenna trigger.
  9. Resolve the Brinelin trigger, returning Earthquake Dragon from the battlefield to your hand.
  10. Resolve the Gwenna trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and untapping it.
  11. Repeat.
