How it works

1. Give Deathbringer Thoctar lifelink.
2. Activate Deathbringer Thoctar by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, dealing 1 damage to any target and causing you to gain 1 life.
3. Spider-Man triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Deathbringer Thoctar.
4. Repeat.

This loop turns a single point of damage into an unstoppable engine by exploiting the synergy between lifelink and growth. Once you give Deathbringer Thoctar lifelink, its activated ability becomes self-sustaining: removing a +1/+1 counter to deal 1 damage to any target triggers lifelink, which in turn causes Spider-Man, Peter Parker to grant another +1/+1 counter back to the Thoctar. Because Deathbringer Thoctar's own triggered ability also feeds it counters whenever *any* creature dies, you can easily pivot this sequence into a lethal barrage of infinite damage and infinite life.
