How it works

1. Give Deathbringer Thoctar lifelink.
2. Activate Deathbringer Thoctar by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, dealing 1 damage to any target and causing you to gain 1 life.
3. Heroic Feast triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Deathbringer Thoctar.
4. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns Deathbringer Thoctar into a self-sustaining engine of destruction, provided it is first granted lifelink through an outside source. Once that condition is met, you activate the Thoctar's ability to remove a +1/+1 counter and deal 1 damage to any target, which immediately triggers lifegain and allows Heroic Feast to step in. Because you gained life, the enchantment's triggered ability rewards you by placing a fresh +1/+1 counter right back onto Deathbringer Thoctar, leaving you ready to repeat the process infinitely.
