How it works

  1. Cast Saw in Half by paying 2B mana, destroying Possessed Skaab and creating two token copies of it with base power equal to half the destroyed creature's power and base toughness equal to half the destroyed creature's toughness, rounding up each time.
  2. When the Possessed Skaab tokens enter the battlefield, they trigger, returning Saw in Half and Sacrifice from your graveyard to your hand.
  3. Cast Sacrifice by paying B mana and sacrificing a Possessed Skaab token, adding an amount of B mana equal to its mana value.
  4. Repeat.

This clever loop revolves around sacrificing a creature for profit and then recycling your graveyard to do it all over again. You kick things off by casting Saw in Half on Possessed Skaab, destroying the original to birth two token copies that trigger their own entry abilities to pull both Saw in Half and Sacrifice right back out of your graveyard. From there, you immediately cast Sacrifice by feeding one of the Possessed Skaab tokens to it, converting its mana value into black mana while sending it to the graveyard (bypassing its replacement effect since tokens just cease to exist anyway), which leaves you with enough fuel to repeat the entire process and net infinite black mana, sacrifices, and death triggers.
