How it works

  1. Cast Saw in Half by paying 2B mana, destroying Possessed Skaab and creating two token copies of it with base power equal to half the destroyed creature's power and base toughness equal to half the destroyed creature's toughness, rounding up each time.
  2. When the Possessed Skaab tokens enter the battlefield, they trigger, returning Saw in Half and Burnt Offering from your graveyard to your hand.
  3. Cast Burnt Offering by paying B mana and sacrificing a Possessed Skaab token, adding B manaB mana plus an additional amount of B mana and/or R mana equal to its mana value minus 2.
  4. Repeat.

This clever black-red loop uses Saw in Half to destroy Possessed Skaab, leaving behind two half-sized token copies that trigger its entry ability twice to pull both the spell and Burnt Offering right back out of your graveyard. You then feed one of those newly minted token copies directly to Burnt Offering to harvest enough mana to recast Saw in Half, repeating the cycle while the second token stays behind as recurring fodder. Because Possessed Skaab's replacement effect only exiles it when the *card* itself would die rather than its tokens, you can infinitely sacrifice, duplicate, and recast your way to a storm of endless triggers and infinite black and red mana.
