How it works
- Cast Saw in Half by paying 2, destroying Auton Soldier and creating two token copies of it that are nonlegendary copies of Kairi.
- When Auton Soldier dies, it triggers.
- Holding priority, cast Burnt Offering by paying and sacrificing one of the Auton Soldier tokens.
- When the token dies, it triggers. Choose either mode.
- Resolve Burnt Offering, adding B/RB/RB/RB/R
- Resolve the Auton Soldier trigger from step 5, causing you to mill six cards and return Saw in Half and Burnt Offering from your graveyard to your hand.
- Repeat
This loop transforms a single copy of Auton Soldier into an engine of endless recursion by leveraging its unique ability to enter as a nonlegendary copy of Kairi, the Swirling Sky. When you use Saw in Half to crack the original Auton Soldier into two Kairi-copies, you set up a nested sequence where sacrificing one copy to Burnt Offering triggers its death ability. That trigger allows you to mill your library and continually fish both Saw in Half and Burnt Offering right back to your hand, generating infinite mana, tokens, and death triggers along the way.
