How it works

1. Cast Saw in Half by paying 2, destroying Greenwarden of Murasa and creating two token copies of it with base power equal to half the destroyed creature's power and base toughness equal to half the destroyed creature's toughness, rounding up each time.
2. When the Greenwarden of Murasa tokens enter the battlefield, they trigger, returning Saw in Half and Burnt Offering from your graveyard to your hand.
3. Cast Burnt Offering by paying and sacrificing a Greenwarden of Murasa token, adding plus an additional amount of and/or equal to its mana value minus 2.
4. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in recursion, turning Saw in Half's destruction into a self-sustaining engine. By targeting Greenwarden of Murasa with Saw in Half, you replace it with two token copies whose entry triggers return both the spell that just resolved and Burnt Offering from your graveyard back to your hand. You then use Burnt Offering to sacrifice one of those tokens for a massive influx of black and red mana, leaving the second token untouched on the board while you recast Saw in Half to repeat the entire process.
