How it works

1. Cast Saw in Half by paying 2, destroying Verdurous Gearhulk and creating two token copies of it with base power equal to half the destroyed creature's power and base toughness equal to half the destroyed creature's toughness, rounding up each time.
2. When the Verdurous Gearhulk tokens enter the battlefield, they trigger, putting sixteen +1/+1 counters on a creature you control with power 3 or greater.
3. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Mayael's Aria triggers, causing you to put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control, gain 10 life and win the game.

This ingenious combo uses Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider to exponentially magnify the entering triggers of Verdurous Gearhulk and its offspring. When you use Saw in Half to slice up the original Gearhulk, the resulting token copies enter the battlefield and trigger their counter-distribution ability, which Vorinclex doubles into an overwhelming sixteen +1/+1 counters. With a creature's power thus inflated past 20, Mayael's Aria easily scales through its upkeep checks on your next turn to instantly hand you the game.
