Cormela, Glamour Thief + Saw in Half + Temporal Manipulation
Cormela, Glamour Thief
Saw in Half
Temporal Manipulation
Infinite turnsLock
How it works
Activate Cormela by paying 1 and tapping it, adding that can only be spent to cast instant or sorcery spells.
Cast Temporal Manipulation by paying 3, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
Cast Saw in Half by paying 2, destroying Cormela and creating two token copies of it with base power equal to half the destroyed creature's power and base toughness equal to half the destroyed creature's toughness, rounding up each time.
Put one Cormela token into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
When the original Cormela and the token Cormela die, their abilities trigger, returning Temporal Manipulation and Saw in Half from your graveyard to your hand.
Repeat each turn.
This clever loop kicks off when you tap Cormela, Glamour Thief to help fund your spells, generating the exact mana needed to cast Temporal Manipulation for an extra turn. From there, you cast Saw in Half to destroy the original Cormela, creating two weakened token copies of her that immediately trigger the legend rule to send one to the graveyard. When both the original Cormela and the fallen token die, their death triggers allow you to scoop both Temporal Manipulation and Saw in Half right back out of your graveyard and back into your hand. Because you are chaining extra turns while recycling your spells every single cycle, you can easily repeat this process indefinitely to lock down the game.
