How it works

  1. Cast Dark Ritual by paying B mana, adding B manaB manaB mana.
  2. Activate Cormela by paying 1 and tapping them, adding U manaB manaR mana that can only be used to cast instants or sorceries.
  3. Cast Saw in Half by paying 2B mana targeting Cormela, destroying them and creating two token copies of Cormela with half the destroyed creature's base power and toughness.
  4. Put one of the Cormela tokens in the graveyard due to the legend rule.
  5. The Cormela that died in step 3 and the Cormela that died in step 4 each trigger when they die, returning Dark Ritual and Saw in Half from your graveyard to your hand.
  6. Repeat.
